17世紀末，歐洲掀起“中國風”，大批繪有歐美個人、家族大直室內設計、社團、公司或城市紋章圖案的中國瓷器，風行歐洲年夜陸，盛極一時。嶺南的廣彩也在此時揚名海內，被東方人定名為“Canton design”（意即廣東設計），一度成為廣東制造、中國文明的代名詞。

多年以后，此中一件清雍正廣彩描金紋章折枝花草紋盤（以下簡稱“Tower紋章盤”）又從歐洲回到廣州，躲于廣州博物館鎮海樓。

“Tower紋章盤”盤心地位繪有塔樓（英文即“Tower”）圖案，是1728年英國濤爾家族在中國定制的親子空間設計，也是今朝存世的獨一一件擁有中文標注原始訂單的紋章瓷。“盤沿上的纏枝花草是廣彩作品中的常見元素，描金伎倆讓整個盤子顯得富麗堂皇。”

中國工藝美術年夜師、廣彩藝術省級非遺傳承人翟惠玲介紹，廣彩將中國傳統制瓷元素與西洋文明充足糅合，向東方傳達著中國的文明信息THE R3 寓所，可謂是海上絲綢之路最亮麗的文明手刺。
