Pain has never become a concept in Oriental philosophy, but it cannot be captured by the concept because it is hurt. The concept is used to identify the factual judgments on the cognitive level, and the pain is difficult to enter the factual judgments. If a student thinks: “It is not advisable to judge the pain and tragedy only as a fact of whether the pain of others or oneself can be confirmed, but should be regarded as a call. Who can’t deny the existence of pain, as a concept in Confucian philosophy, serves as a very serious influence. This is undoubtedly the most famous for Mencius’s “hidden heart”. Harm is about pain. This concept of pain is the most basic and indispensable part of Confucian civilization. But since the connotation of his thinking is difficult to be clear, the pain is under the floor and is about to be brought to the stage, the philosophical face of “meow” with a faint “meow” view came from his ears. 1. From the saying “There is only the tragedy of the parents”

 

There is a sentence in “The Book of Thoughts” that Confucius said, “There is only the tragedy of the parents” (“Su Zheng”, the following quotes “The Book of Thoughts” are only marked with the title of the chapter), and there are two explanations about the disease of the parents who are worried about the Son of Man and the disease of the Son of Man. Zhu Zi said in a comprehensive manner: “It means that the parents love their son, and they are afraid that they will be sick, so they often regard them as filial. The son of man takes this and takes the heart of his parents as their heart. Anyone who keeps his body will not tolerate them, and will not be able to think they are filial? Old sayings, the son of man can make his parents not feel guilty about their distortion, but only regard their illness as their worries, so they can be filial. It is also true.” [③] Liu Baonan listed many of them in the righteousness, “all of them are people.” The solution to the problem of “Zi’s parents’ illness is filial”, and finally explained the explanation of Ma Rong’s notes, saying that the rebellious son does not act recklessly, but only illness will make his parents feel sick.” It said, “Mencius said: ‘Who is the big one? It is the big one to protect his body.”The reason for the matter is that the son of a man knows what his parents are worried about, he can be sick, not act recklessly, and not lose his body. If he does not lose his body, this is filial piety.”[④] Parents who are worried about the Son of a man and the Son of a man can actually live in both. Zhu Zi said that Ma Rong said, “The rebellious son does not act recklessly.” As long as the disease cannot prevent his parents from being worried. This meaning is very clear from Ma Rong to Zhu Zi. It seems that Liu Baonan said that “it is possible to be tempted and not be rude and wrong”, and there is no difference, but the meaning of “tempted and not be rude” is still different.

 

The parents’ concern for their descendants is completely different, and their concern for the disease is unique, so they are particularly pointing out that “only insure the depression of their illness”. There can be divided into two categories in the problem that makes parents worry. One is an unruly thing and the other is a disease. When it comes to distorting things, parents are worried about things, and diseases have their own unique characteristics. Mencius listed several classics of unfiliality in future generations. He said: “The five things that the world calls unfilial: laziness in the four branches, not taking care of parents, one is unfilial; playing games and drinking, not taking care of parents, two is unfilial; having money, private wives, not taking care of parents, three is unfilial; pursuing people’s desires, thinking of parents as their parents, four is unfilial; being brave and fighting is very serious, and being dangerous to parents, five is unfilial.” (“Mencius: Leaving the Mother”) Unfiliality in future generations is also what parents are worried about. These are all unruly things. Parents are worried about their future generations who do unruly things are the most important. Parents are least willing to see their descendants who misunderstand into evil paths and are imprisoned. They are most important for future generations to shame their parents for being evil. Similarly, parents are also unwilling to see their descendants get sick. Once their descendants get sick, they will be unable to eat as parents. Whether it is unruly or sick, it is the same as worry, so descendants “can be sick” on one hand and “not making mistakes”. The nature of the two jobs is different, but you must grasp both hands to prevent parents from being worried all day long. However, this juxtaposition can conceal the uniqueness of the disease, thinking that it cannot be done as bad, and can also be avoided from the pain.Parents are worried. As expected, the meaning of “parents are only sick and ill” is lost, and it is also contrary to their career experience. Although there is no problem with the expression of “sarrow” meaning, the focus is obviously not below. Disease is used to stoke unruly things. Confess the Son of Man does his best to “not behave in a wrong way”, and only the illness is left without the urge to be relieved by his parents.

 

On ordinary, parents’ worries about their offspring include too many aspects. Physical diseases are of course common, so it is difficult to show any special features. But the descendants are less sick, and more often they are other jobs that allow their parents to work on. When descendants get sick, they will feel worried about their bodies. When the disease is cured, they will naturally focus on other aspects. Thinking about it, this seems to be almost the same as other aspects of worry. When the performance of descendants declines, they are worried about learning, when the descendants are lonely and cold, they are worried about their temperament, when the descendants are big and angry about getting married, etc., it doesn’t seem to be special. In fact, if you are the descendants of others, you should be as filial as possible and as hard as possible, but you may not be able to do everything as your parents wish. Some things will definitely be as your parents wish, and if you don’t have to do anything wrong; some things can make your parents lose their wishes, such as those of the Golden List title and clothing. But just need to do whatever you want, even if the parents don’t get what they want, and their parents can helplessly not think that they are worried. Song Wei answered helplessly.
